Lately, I’ve been getting lots of calls from our clients about how to get angels, VCs and other investors to say “yes” to their business plans and hand over that big check.

If they’ve got a social networking site, for example, should they build the database first, attracting as many users as possible, before they try to sell a single banner ad or collect a dollar of revenue?
