It was the quest for perfection that put Lesley DiGregorio and Jen Clarke on the entrepreneur train.
The first-time moms were on maternity leave together three years ago when they realized the baby carriers currently on the market did not meet their specific needs.
By the time Ms. DiGregorio had her second child — Ms. Clarke followed just six months later — the friends finally found a wrap-style carrier that was adequate.
“But we kept saying, ‘I wish it had this’ or ‘I wish it had that,’” Ms. Clarke said.
