Former Model Becomes Independent Consultant for Fashion Business
Northville resident Lauren Romeo knows not all women love to spend hours on end at malls and in department stores.
She also knows that those women still care about their style and the latest clothing trends.
For those reasons, the model-turned-entrepreneur has become a consultant for New York-based clothing company Etcetera.
Clothing is sold throughout the country at what Romeo called “trunk shows.” Perspective clients schedule appointments to meet with Etcetera consultants and choose from a wide array of pieces.
“That’s what sets us apart from the department stores,” Romeo said. “The clothes are delivered to the customers or they come pick them up.
