Between the delicious smells wafting from the warehouse’s makeshift kitchen and the easy camaraderie of her co-workers, mostly family and friends, it’s like Sunday night dinner every day for Dawn Fitch — only she can’t recommend eating the food.

Fitch is the founder of Pooka Pure & Simple, an East Orange-based bath and body company that features all-natural, preservative-free and delightfully scented products geared toward those with dry skin. She recently relaunched her retail efforts after a move upstairs to an expanded 2,300-square-foot warehouse space in Manufacturer’s Village, a small complex of ivy-covered, red brick industrial buildings on Glenwood Avenue.
