4-Wheel Drive Wheelchair For Hunting
“Tom Martell of Bismarck probably never thought of himself as an inventor… but they say necessity is the mother of invention.
And when Tom had to have his leg amputated, he found himself needing a better way to get around.
Tom’s prosthetic leg didn’t allow him the freedom to hunt that he had enjoyed in the past.
So, with the help of a friend, Tom came up with an all-terrain hunting wheel chair.
Now, he’s able to go down tree rows and bounce over lumpy landscape in search of his prey.
He says thanks to his invention, he’s re-discovering the world.
Tom and his friend are now trying to perfect a 4-wheel drive wheelchair that will allow people with dissabilities even greater access to remote areas.”
